This event will provide understanding and appreciation of the sky and the culture relating to how stories and beliefs have come about with many cultures.
The event will be designed within three themes:
1. Environment - recognition of the natural rural environment
2. Education - provide an educational experience to residents and visitors
3. Culture - promotion of art and culture which is abundant in Bon Accord and the region

Bon Accord Town Wide Garage Sale – held in June. This is the time to clean out the garage, attic and house. Meet your neighbours, and people from other communities. As you know, "One persons junk is another persons treasure."
Bon Accord Harvest Days - This summer festival takes place the second weekend in August and includes a myriad of activities. Something for all ages - ball tournaments, family games, kiddie rides, petting zoo, pancake breakfast, family dance, and performances such as last year's Strathcona Mounted Troop Musical Ride.
Winter Wonderland - The first weekend in December we kick off the Holiday Season with our Annual Winter Wonderland. Mrs. Claus joins us for breakfast, and Santa arrives just after breakfast! The day is filled with family oriented activities, including family skating and fireworks. A great way to get in the Christmas spirit.
