Mayor Randy Boyd
Originally from Nova Scotia, Randy and his family settled in Bon Accord in 2006 when his wife was hired as the town librarian. A master Electrician who served 23 years as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces, Randy is currently employed as a civilian at CFB Edmonton.
Randy has been an active member of many volunteer organizations such as Scouts Canada and school parent councils. Since moving to Bon Accord he has volunteered as a member of the Economic Development Committee and the Friends of the Bon Accord Public Library before being elected to Council in 2007.

Councillor Alex MacKenzie
Alex and his family moved to Bon Accord in 1997. He served for 23 years in the Military in the Infantry and the Intelligence Branch. He has been posted all over Canada and did a number of tours overseas. He retired from the Military in 2003, and is currently employed in the Federal Public Service. His wife Nikki has a home-based business in Bon Accord, and their daughter grew up in Bon Accord, attend Bon Accord Community School and Lilian Schick School.
Alex has run in six municipal elections or by-elections (1999, 2001, 2004, 2007 [twice] & 2010); winning five of them.
Councillor MacKenzie currently sits on the following Boards, Commissions and Committees:

Councillor Alan Saunders
Alan has been in the community since he was 10 years old, and is a graduate of Sturgeon Composite High School. He attended the University of Alberta Faculty of Extension, where he studied Occupational Health and Safety and Adult Education.
Alan started working for the Town of Bon Accord in 1980, where he worked in most operating departments including roles in Supervisory and Management. Currently Alan works as a Health and Safety Consultant / Trainer to the Municipal Sector.
Alan was elected to Council on October 15th, 2007, and currently sits on the following Boards, Commissions and Committees:

Councillor Louise Jamieson
Louise was born in Nova Scotia and has lived in a number of the Provinces across Canada. Before retiring in June 2002, Louise worked as an accountant for 6 years, followed by 14 years working with Seniors in the Health Care field. She had a degree in Music and was a member of the Dragoons Military Band, where she played Alto Sax.
Louise moved to Bon Accord in June 2002 and currently coaches 5 pin bowling and runs the Bon Accord Stamp Club.

Next Regular Meeting of Council will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. The Agenda will be available on June 1, 2012.
Regular Meetings of Council are held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month, except during the summer months (July and August), and commence at 7:00 p.m. The summer schedule is determined at the Organizational Meeting held in October of each year. All Council Meetings are open to the Public, except of the “in-camera” sessions.
