Sturgeon Region Victim Services Unit

Bon Accord is a participant with the R.C.M.P. Victim Services Unit. The Sturgeon Region Victim Services Unit offers assistance to victims of crime or misfortune through well trained volunteer support advisors.

Volunteer Advocates receive formal training by community professionals in interpersonal skills development,

crisis intervention, home security, Criminal Justice System, bereavement, stress management, and resource agency networking.

Bon Accord Citizens on Patrol Association

Bon Accord Citizens on Patrol Association is an R.C.M.P. trained group of volunteers that patrol the Bon Accord area. They help maintain Bon Accord as a safe community.

The Bon Accord Citizens on Patrol Association regularly patrol the streets of Bon Accord and the acreage areas of Hewitt Estates and Sturgeon Valley Vista. They report criminal or suspicious activity to the police.
