Lin was born in Ontario and raised on the family farm in rural Ontario. Lin joined the Military in September 1975 and was posted to many Canadian cities, as well as Germany during his career. He also did tours in Bosnia and Afghanistan before retiring from the Military in April 2007. Lin and his family moved to Bon Accord in 1997. Lin was elected Mayor of Bon Accord on October 15th, 2007.

Alex and his family moved to Bon Accord in 1997. He served for 23 years in the Military in the Infantry and Intellegence branches. He was posted all over Canada and did a number of tours overseas. He retired from the Military in 2003, and is currently employed in the Public Service. His wife Nikki has a home-based business in Bon Accord, and their daughter grew up in Bon Accord, attending Bon Accord Community School and Lilian Schick School.
Alex was first elected in a By-election in 1999, re-elected in 2001, defeated in 2004, re-elected in a By-election and later in a regular election in 2007.

Alan has been in the community since he was 10 years old, and is a graduate of Sturgeon Composite High School. He attended the University of Alberta Faculty of Extension, where he studied Occupational Health and Safety and Adult Education. 
Alan started working for the Town of Bon Accord in 1980, where he worked in most operating departments including roles in Supervisory and Management. Currently Alan works as a Helath and Safety Consultant / Trainer to the Municipal Sector.

Professionally Karen has been in the human performance, training and development industry for many years and is a advocate for life long learning. On a part time basis, Karen contracts to:
develop materials, courses, programs and workshops
facilitates courses and workshops
presents at conferences
Karen has a Bachelor of Physical Education and Sport Science Degree, major in coaching and minor in Athletic Training and Conditioning. Karen is currently working on a Bachelor of Education, Adult Education Degree from the University of Alberta. Karen has been involved with sport and recreation for over 25 years; coached a variety of sports from grassroots to high performance athletes.

Randy and his family moved to Bon Accord in November 2006. Randy was elected to Council on October 15, 2007.

Vicki has 25 plus years business experience in both the public and private sectors. Vicki recently managed the Utilities (water, wastewater and natural gas) and regional water commission initiatives on behalf of the County of Thorhild. During her tenure with the County of Thorhild, Vicki oversaw County owned Utility infrastructure; maintained operations, conducted and implemented competitive rate designs and service offering programs, in addtion to the facilitation of the development of the regional water transmission line extention.
Vicki was appointed Town Manager for the Town of Bon Accord effective January 1st, 2009. As Town Manager, she is responsible for the towns financial and risk management, business operations, facilitation of policy and bylaw application, and provides direction to the organization's team.
Vicki resides very close to Bon Accord, on an acreage, with her husband Steve. She has two grown children and one granddaughter.
