We are a vibrant community with so much to offer!

With the unusual beauty and lush landscape of the surrounding countryside, Bon Accord has become a favorite for families working in the city but wanting to escape at the end of the day to a friendly small town atmosphere.

The Town boasts a fully equipped ambulance service and a volunteer fire department, is policed by the R.C.M.P., Sturgeon County Bylaw Enforcement, and has an active Citizens on Patrol. There is a Wetland Conservation Area supported by Ducks Unlimited. Bon Accord has two schools, one offering kindergarten to grade 4, the other offering grades 5 to grades 9. High School students are transported to one of two adjacent towns for schooling.

Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) provides community programs offering support groups, youth centre, moms & tots program, and many more. Bon Accord Public Library is proud to be the fastest growing library in Sturgeon County. Working hand in hand with FCSS and our youth, has made the Library an integral part of Bon Accord.
